Our luxuriously soft beach towels are made from brushed microfiber with a 100% cotton back for extra absorption. The top of the towel has the image printed on it, and the back is white cotton. Our beach towels are available in two different sizes: beach towel (32" x 64") and beach sheet (37" x 74").
Don't let the fancy name confuse you... a beach sheet is just a large beach towel.

This painting features a groin running out to sea on a beach. The beach is at Southbourne, on the suburbs of Bournemouth, Dorset. I took a number of photographs to use as reference of the waves and groin to refer to as I planned the painting. It was fun painting the different colours in the water and capturing the light working through the waves. The 'wetness' of the wood on the groin was something that I wanted to capture as well.
The painting is done in oils, on a small 12" x 10" canvas board, in just under a day, during autumn 2014.
