Artist's Description

An old man smoking a pipe is sat at his writing desk, situated in his comfortable study furnished with Victorian furniture. The author owns a very large cat that spies on him at nights. He has problems with his eyesight so an attachment has been made to make writing easier.
This surreal illustration was painted digitally using 'Auto Sketchbook Pro', during March/ April 2021.
