Completed in June 2021 this painting shows a scene during a summer's day featuring two horses on a coastal path. The location is in the Westbury area of Devon, a very pretty area of the UK on the Southern coast, and is based on a photo taken during 2021. The distant horizon is where the land ends with steep cliffs meeting the sea below.
The painting is created in oils and painted on mounting board sized at 20” x 16”. The development of the artwork took some time as it was started during November 2020, but progress stopped after a few days. Work was not resumed until June 2021.
