This painting was created during late September 2016. It is, for me, a stark composition that just features a close up of the sea, hitting the sandy shore and creating one wave. It is painted in oils which I rarely use but I felt this medium would suit the subject matter. The painting is sized at 20" x 16" and done on stretched watercolour paper.
