This painting was created during early September 2017, and features a portrait of a friesian cow in a section of the countryside. It could argued that the cow has been portrayed in a sentimental manner, with the painting technique deliberately creating a 'softening' effect for the subject!
It is painted in oils on an acrylic under-painting layer. The support is primed mounting board, sized at 16” x 12”.
