This painting was created during June 2017, and shows an active scene at a camp site, with children enjoying a swing suspended above a river. The location is the New Forest in the county of Hampshire, UK. The park is a national park and people have come to this spot for generations. It offers a shady area and cool water to offset the hot days in the forest. In the background can be seen the caravans and tents, with parents relaxing.
The park is a mile or so from the town of Brockenhurst.
The painting is sized at 28” x 20” approx, and is painted in oils on mounting board.
