Artist's Description

Nowadays a common sight – four passengers are shown awaiting a train at a station, and all are busy texting or engaging in other tasks on their mobile phones. The station is at Christchurch, a town on the southern coast of the UK. It is a cold but sunny winters late afternoon, with long shadows cast through the scene. There are actually three women in the scene, the fourth is a man standing up on the left hand side.
The painting is sized at 16” x 12”, and is painted in acrylics on stretched watercolour paper. It was created during June 2018.
