Description
This illustration is based on a famous painting by Pablo Picasso. It was called “Les Demoiselles d'Avignon”, which translates to “The young women of Avignon”, and painted in 1907. It featured five prostitutes, some possibly wearing masks and has undertones of violence while also showing the figures to be passive. It also uses influences of African art. Picasso created this at the start of the Cubism movement.
The illustration replaces the female women figures with female dinosaurs! It was painted digitally using 'Auto Sketch Book Pro' with final touches done in Photoshop, during March 2021.
