In the Bitterne area of Southampton is an allotment well hidden, situated near to the River Itchen, and has a railway line at the foot of it. I have produced one painting of the location to date and this is the second, showing various plots populated with a shed and bins and other paraphernalia associated with growing vegetables, during spring.
The painting is done in oils on a 20 x 16 canvas board, during July 2014.

Nice one, Martin. Reminds me of the allotment we used to have when we lived in Cambridge.
