This painting illustrates another view of the quay at Christchurch, Dorset, UK, showing a permanently busy scene with many yachts and boats moored in the harbour. It is painted in oils on a 16" x 20" canvas. The seagull and man rowing a boat were added to give extra interest. Hengistbury Head can be seen in the very distance.
