This painting shows a summer scene in the New Forest, Hampshire, with a hill dominating the composition. At the base of the hill can be seen a pair of cows sitting and relaxing in the sun. Up the hill on a path that winds up to the top stand a small group of horses. Unfortunately the name of the hill is unknown.
The painting is done in acrylics on a stretched canvas measuring 16" x 20", during June 2016.
