Description

A girl is happy watering plants in a garden somewhere. She holds a toy watering can with a flower design printed on the side. Rather that normal plants of the type to be found in 'cottage gardens' for example, these examples have a menacing quality and seen to be keeping in with exotic, carnivorous species, and are also quite large, especially against the playful child. On closer inspection it can be seen that someone else got too near them and their remains can be seen.
This illustration was painted digitally during August 2018. It was done in 'Auto Sketchbook Pro', initially on an android tablet to establish the design and colours, and then exported to a powerful Windows 10 desktop computer running the same software. Here it was repainted to a larger size and details refined to create the finished artwork.
