This painting was done during July 2016, and shows a line up of 4 cows sitting in a field. It is based on a photograph which had four cows lined up, but I decided to squeeze them together by a small amount as they were too widely spaced to make a pleasing composition. The painting measures 16" x 12" and is done on paper using acrylic paint. The original location was a field I spotted whist on a walk to Lyndhurst in the New Forest, Hampshire. I do not believed it rained any time after!
