Description
This is a painting of an Austin 7 vintage car, in the english countryside. The car is a convertable and dates from the 1930s. The car is based on a photograph I took about 10 years ago, but the car was in a different enviroment. I found some reference material of a country road and used that as a starting point for the background, remembering to add the background colours in to the reflections painted on the side of the car.
It is painted in acrylics on a canvas. 20" x 16".
